Friday’s ‘Real Weddings’ blog is all about Ian and Becky Rolfe who were married with us on Wednesday 27th March 2013.
“The quality of food was excellent and there was so much of it! The lemon tart was exceptional. The house and grounds were stunning on the day, as they were on every visit prior to our big day.
Debbie our front of house manager was outstanding, both our families and guests made comments on how thoughtful, warm & caring she was. Nothing was too much trouble. I can’t thank her enough. So many little touches made a huge difference to our day.
All the front of house team were also excellent, the bar manager was great as were all the waiting staff and bar team, all of them great fun, efficient & friendly.

It was clear that the inspiration behind the day’s theme was Easter. The attention to detail was incredible and all of the finishing touches made their day ultra-special but also very unique. We absolutely loved this plant box that was situated at the main entrance for their guests to see upon arrival.
Becky had some fantastic presents in handmade gift bags for her mum, sister and two bridesmaids. A nice personal touch to say ‘thank you’ for helping with the planning and preparation of their big day.
The bridesmaids wore individually styled dresses sharing the same colour to keep to the theme- an ideal way of keeping all the ladies happy! They looked stunning and it made for some great photographs- especially when the sun made an appearance!
They were married at 3pm in our gorgeous Queens Gallery featuring an aisle 120 feet in length. Their ceremony was truly amazing!
Due to the weather being so lovely in the evening and our south facing Library Terrace, Ian and Becky managed to have stunning photographs taken outside in the Spring sunshine.

‘The Redfords’ five piece band illuminated our dance floor for the first dance. Ian and Becky looked at one with each other, now a happily married couple. This intimate moment on the dance floor has to be one of my all-time favourite photographs!
Ian and Becky- we wish you a lifetime of happiness together and a long and loving marriage. Please come and visit us in the near future at one of our membership events as we would love to see you back!
