Winter Wedding Inspiration – Coffee & Cream

After a blustery day at Gosfield Hall yesterday, it has suddenly turned much colder… it’s the time of year when you start thinking about comfort food and warm drinks to take the chill away. With weddings always foremost in our minds, it naturally then started us thinking about a coffee and cream inspired wedding, perfect for the Autumn and Winter!

This dress made us think of  Hot Chocolate or a Walnut Whip… does anyone remember them? Delicious!!

We loved these little favour jars, decorated with vintage cream lace, old fashioned buttons and ribbon rosettes, they can house candles, little bath bombs for hot steamy baths or little nutmeg and cinnamon spices to scent the room. The fir cones are a great idea too, with a touch of sparkle, they add a rustic charm to any table.

Continuing the rustic theme, this really unusual hair decoration caught our eye. With a rustic willow band, this has been decorated with pre-loved brooches and pearls with a twist of silver through the willow… simple but stunning!

Lets not forget the invitations, they set the scene at Gosfield Hall and promise an amazing day… these combine the perfect mix of vintage styling, with the coffee background and little cream posy and cream tones, accented with a little green ribbon.

There are pine cones too in this stunning bouquet, which bring in the chocolate colour beautifully. Placed  with cream anemones and green fir, it ties in brilliantly with the rustic feel of the wedding.

Not forgetting shoes…  how amazing are these! They follow on with the coffee and cream theme, in an over the top, “I am a perfect pair of shoes” kind of way!!! Im not getting married but can I have a pair please? !!!
