A Mansion Wedding Venue in the Heart of Essex

The house internally is absolutely stunning, with so many perfect details and character. Externally, the house and grounds were beautifully presented, with well-maintained greenery. The building has beautiful features.

Prior to the wedding, Faye was amazing! We couldn’t have wished for any better. Faye was able to answer any questions and helped out so much with changes, which, annoyingly, were quite frequent, but she always made me feel comfortable and happy to help. I couldn’t begin to write enough words to describe how amazing Faye was! She was an absolute godsend on the day and came to the rescue many a time, and on top of all that, she had the most calming, friendly presence, which made me feel so at ease on such an important day. She made everything so perfect for us and gave me so much reassurance in any moments I was nervous. She is amazing! Also, Elyssa (so sorry if I’ve spelt wrong), both were very helpful!

The presentation of the house internally was phenomenal - every time we visited it was immaculate, and that was no different on the big day.

The ceremony room and reception rooms were exactly how we envisaged them. The grounds are fantastically maintained, and everything was beautiful. Service both before and on the day was fantastic. Any queries we had were responded to quickly, we came and saw the venue multiple times prior to the wedding and had multiple meetings with our Personal Wedding Planner - nothing was too much!

We have nothing negative to say about the service on the day; food and bar service were smooth and quick, and everyone was so friendly! I cannot express how amazing Ellie was in the lead-up and on our wedding day. Nothing was too much of an ask, and she kept the day going so smoothly, and it was organised perfectly.

Gosfield Hall has a stunning interior with beautiful features. Externally, the venue is so visually striking, and we get goosebumps every time we drive up to the manor house.

We loved the beautiful courtyard, flowers and gardens. There are so many wonderful outdoor spots. He bedrooms - We love how each room is individually different and how breathtaking the views from the rooms are. Definitely get what you pay for!

We received a warm welcome on our first visit; all the staff were so friendly and helpful. Everyone there was amazing and couldn't do enough for us. We were very lucky to have Ellie Hills as our wedding co-ordinator. There are not enough kind words to describe how incredible she was and the quality of service we received. She was so thoughtful and organised at our planning meeting, and we felt confident knowing the day would be perfect. Ellie and the entire team at Gosfield were fantastic.

Everything ran smoothly, and nothing was too much trouble. The team worked tirelessly to ensure we had the best day, and we can't thank them enough. We knew from our food tasting at Gosfield that the wedding breakfast would be delicious; however, it exceeded expectations. All of our guests commented on the quality and taste of each course. He bar staff were always on hand to top up drinks and take orders.

We had the absolute pleasure of having our wedding at Gosfield Hall. We were so, so lucky to have Jocie as our wedding planner, and it could not have been more perfect.

Jocie was professional, understanding, helpful and guided us through the entire process with grace and ease. Jocie ensured everything ran smoothly, and as the bride, I was completely shocked that I wasn’t bothered by anything on the morning of the wedding. Jocie organised everything, assisted with decision making and continued clear communication throughout the planning process.

Our wedding was everything we could have ever wished for and more. We are so grateful for our special day to have been this stress-free. Thank you all at Gosfield, but in particular Jocie!

It was an excellent event location; the staff were invaluable and friendly. We attended a friend's wedding, and it was a fantastic experience.

The food was lovely and impressed even some of the fussiest eaters at our table. One drawback is the lack of mobile signal.

The house is beautiful inside with regal and grand details and pretty decor throughout. The house is stunning outside; the grounds are very well kept and beautiful to look at.

From start to finish the service was excellent, the staff member who booked our wedding explained the process well and we fully understood each step to come. Our coordinator Faye made the planning seamless, she was very professional and informative, we received fast replies via email which was very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, last minute changes and additions were no issue. We felt very confident in the lead up to our wedding.

For the wedding breakfast we had the lamb rack and scallops and the tasted amazing, all of our guests were happy with their food. The cocktails were the best we have tasted in some time - passionfruit martini and old fashioned were just excellent! 

We loved everything about the venue it spoke for itself and was just beautiful. Before the wedding Jocie was there to help with any questions, understood what we wanted and again just made the day so easy.

Immaculate gardens, just stunning. The house was clean, beautiful, set up exactly as per agreement with Hayden. The bedrooms- plenty of towels, lovely White Company toiletries, spacious rooms and a lovely experience in every room.

Hayden was outstanding. Absolutely outstanding. He had to endure an entire year of countless questions and requests; changes and panic attacks and he took it all in like the seasoned professional he is. Nothing was too big or small for Hayden and he is the reason the day went as smoothly as it did.

Attentive, friendly and diligent staff, wonderful team. Jade and the 2 Maisie’s were excellent at the Marquis the night before. The waiters and bar staff - all excellent, friendly and helpful. Wonderful to see Jade and Maisie again on the wedding evening. 

We fell in love with the venue as soon as we arrived and it was even more perfect on our wedding day. All the staff were attentive, professional and went above and beyond.

Jocie was fantastic at organising the day and so many of our guests said it was the best wedding they attended. Food was stunning, cocktails made to perfection and grounds well kept. Couldn't recommend here more. Again, the grounds are incredibly well kept, and beautiful.

I was in the Rococco suite which was outstanding. What I recall of the other bedrooms was also very high quality. The sale staff were co-ordinated and met with were very knowledgeable and helpful. Service was fantastic throughout the day, I couldn’t complain about anyone or thing. Everything went off smoothly and the staff were wonderful and friendly. I didn’t have to worry about a thing as a result of the efficiency and professionalism of the team. Faye was fantastic throughout. I became unwell on the day, and she was lovely and supportive of me. She worked with my husband to amend the schedule on the fly and made sure I didn’t miss out on anything. I can’t thank her enough for making it our perfect day that we will cherish forever.

The house is so beautiful. Each of the rooms are breathtaking and all have their own stunning features. Staff have also been friendly and very accommodating when visiting to look around and when attending tasting evenings.

We’ve had excellent service everything we’ve visited Gosfield and can’t wait to return for future events. All the staff during our wedding day were fantastic. Serving with a smile and very attentive to guests. Food and presentation were amazing.

Faye was amazing. She went above and beyond, not just on our wedding day and also in the lead up. Always replying quickly to my many questions and helping with any queries. We can’t thank Faye enough for making sure our special day went smoothly!
