We are delighted to announce that Gosfield Hall has won an award at Hitched Wedding Awards 2024 in the Stately Home Wedding Venue Category. This award was given thanks to all the amazing reviews and testimonials that our couples gave us in 2023!
We were voted ‘Best Stately Home Wedding Venue’ at the British Wedding Awards 2020, having been shortlisted in this category at both Hitched’s UK Wedding Awards AND the British Wedding Awards last year, so winning it in 2020 was amazing! We were incredibly proud to have won this award at the UK Wedding Awards in 2018 and were shortlisted for it in 2017.
We were also voted finalists at the British Wedding Awards 2015 and won the Wedding Venue of the Year (Heritage) award at the Essex Wedding Awards 2012. Finally, we were proud to be voted Best UK Wedding Venue 2011 by the readers of Wedding Ideas – arguably the UK’s most prestigious wedding award.
We attended this venue for my son’s wedding, and I can honestly say that this venue blew us away.
The ceremony was fantastic, the meal and the disco in the evening was fantastic. They even had a library area for elderly people and the non-dancers.
We stayed overnight and the rooms are fantastic and cosy. The wedding breakfast was first class.
The grounds are huge and was ideal for some fantastic photos. All the staff was absolutely first rate polite attentive and really nice to talk to. I saw the cleaners the next morning and had to say how nice and clean the rooms where.
If you’re thinking about this venue for a wedding, you cannot go wrong it’s ideal to start your married life off with memories of the wedding at Gosfield Hall. This is a first-class venue for a wedding.

My husband and I got married at Gosfield Hall on Saturday 24th September 2022.
From the very start Gosfield Hall were amazing! From booking a viewing and falling in love with the beautiful venue, to accommodating our every want and need and having Tara as our incredible wedding planner.
We had the most amazing day, better than we ever anticipated. Tara ensured the day ran like clockwork, she was so calm and professional the whole day and nothing was ever too much to ask.
I am so thankful to the whole team at Gosfield Hall for giving us the most perfect day. We cannot wait to come back and visit. We wish that we could do it all over again.

We had a great time at my niece’s wedding, couldn’t have been better. Even the photographs where great. The staff where really attentive and friendly.
The food was great, served almost regimental, perfect . Loved it. Oh and the rooms were great, yeah they’re old 500 years or so but that adds to the character.

From the day we came to visit the venue until the minute we left on the Tuesday, you have been amazing to deal with. We know as a venue you must have hit some struggles with Covid but even throughout nothing has ever been too much and we cannot be more thankful.
It has been so worth the wait, the day was magical, you made it so so easy for us just to soak up the day. Every member of staff was amazing and so lovely to us and even though I am sure you’ve had hotter days to deal with, they remained perfect throughout. We’ve had so many comments from guests on how fantastic everything was, how everything ran so smoothly and how stunning the venue is.

Wow. We had our wedding here on the 3rd August 2022 and it was the most magical day.
The venue is absolutely stunning with so much to offer. The staff are so accommodating and all the guests commented on how amazing our wedding manager (Ellie) was. She truly did such a wonderful job of making our day so so easy.
The food was delicious and the bridal suite is just stunning. Can’t fault this venue! Thank you so much to everyone who works there.

I’m a pastor and officiate many weddings and Jocie, the wedding coordinator, was probably the best and most gracious wedding coordinator I’ve ever worked with.
The food was great and, again, the serving staff were friendly and gracious. I totally recommend Gosfield. It was so impressive to all of our guests and obviously an event we will never forget!!
Being from the States originally, my wife and I had a lot on our plates, trying to coordinate international travel for our family and friends. On top of preparing for a wedding and my own move to London, we felt a great deal of pressure and stress during the process. But when Jocie stepped in to help us with our day, the stress began to melt away.
The day of the wedding, however, was her crowning achievement. Jocie was present without being overbearing. Despite all that was on her plate, she never once showed any sign of stress. She brought a calming, non-anxious presence that left us feeling relaxed and free to enjoy the most important day of our lives.

Father of a very happy Bride and now Son-in-Law here and we’ve just had the most memorable wedding possible. I cannot praise Faye and Gosfield Hall highly enough, they simply made my little girls dream wedding come true.
This is an exceptional venue and all the staff are hugely experienced meaning everything simply runs like clockwork which as FoB is exactly what you want. Add to that fantastic quality food and accommodation in a wonderfully historic setting that means your guests get to spend the maximum time in which to make memories for the happy couple and you have the perfect wedding mix.
