1st Anniversary: Paper
How about a romantic, personalised photo collage of your first married year together – so cute! A selection of cards with ‘reasons why I love you so much’ or a romantic paper treasure hunt! A letter written from the heart, tied with a ribbon would be something that any Bride would treasure forever.
2nd Anniversary: Cotton
We love these ‘his and hers’ pillows! Once you start living together there may be a fight for duvet space, so these fun pillow slips keep you both happy!! For the more adventurous amongst you, why not get some fun personalised underwear! ‘Property of Mr Jones or Mrs Jones’?!
3rd Anniversary: Leather
A lovely leather bound photo album or journal to record special memories and romantic moments – a great keepsake for many years to come!
The keys to your heart… these matching key rings are the perfect reminder of home.
4th Anniversary: Linen
New bedding sheets or tea towels – very exciting on your 4th year together!! There are lots of gorgeous bath products based on the scent of linen, treat your partner to a gorgeous massage or some bath time bubbles, get the fluffy white towels ready for drying them off!
5th Anniversary: Wood
For some fun why not get a pair of Bride and Groom wooden spoons for when you are cooking in the kitchen together?! Or alternatively a bespoke keepsake jewellery box would go down a treat!
10th anniversary: Tin
These tin buckets are great fun, complete with little chalk boards… write words of endearment on them and fill them with lots of goodies!
25th Anniversary: Silver
Silver – one of the best anniversaries (apart from Diamond of course!!). The list could be endless with jewellery and one of my favourites is this personalised infinity necklace which is simply stunning. Celebrate in style with your very own silver plated lovers flutes, don’t limit the celebrations to your anniversary, use them often to remind each other just how special you both are!!
30th Anniversary: Pearl
Pearls are now very popular to decorate engagement and wedding rings, offering classically elegant, vintage styling. You could treat him to cufflinks or a tie pin with a pearl decoration, or a gorgeous watch with a pearl face, so that every time he glances at his watch he thinks of you.
40th Anniversary: Ruby
There aren’t many of us that can afford a Ruby like the one sold for millions recently but a thoughtful alternative and something that will last a lifetime is a red Rose bush to grace the garden.
50th Anniversary: Gold
What a gorgeous gold bracelet – for tying the knot all those years ago.
60th Anniversary: Diamond
Wow! 60 years together! We love this timeline idea – very personal and something your family will keep for generations to come. You will also receive a card from the Queen on your 60th wedding anniversary, that is something to look forward to!
