Dinner Date Evening – Tuesday 2nd April 2019

With winter now firmly behind us, it’s time to enjoy the sunny fresh spring mornings but more importantly… Come along and experience the Spring/Summer menu!

Soak up the atmosphere of our glorious Georgian Manor house with one of our highly sought after Dinner Date Evenings here on the 2nd April 2019.

The house is open from 6.00pm for you to wander at your leisure, visit bedrooms you have not yet seen, take in the gorgeous Queens Gallery again or stroll around the grounds of the house.

The bar is then open from 6.30pm for you to grab and drink and then sit and relax in our stunning library before dinner.

Dinner is then served at 8.00pm where just the two of you can dine, or you can bring mum’s and dads, sisters, brothers, best men or bridesmaids too… The more the merrier!

Our Chefs have put together a specially selected menu, from our Autumn/Winter main menu, for you to come along and enjoy…

 

Starters

Roasted Artichoke & Asparagus Tart (V)
Parmesan short pastry filled with Roasted Vegetables and a rich Egg Custard served with dressed Roquette Salad

Smoked Duck Salad
Slices of Smoked Duck Breast served on dressed Baby Leaves with Mango and Lime Salsa

Pesto Roasted Salmon
Served with Roquette Salad Parmesan Shavings & Basil Oil

Chicken and Asparagus Salad
Served with Baby Spinach, Stilton and Pine Nuts

Mains

Pan Fried Chicken with Chargrilled Asparagus
Served on wilted Spinach with Roasted Shallots and Thyme Jus

Roast Pork with Apricot and Stuffing
A tender piece of Pork on bubble and squeak, garnished with sliced Toffee Apple and Cider Sauce

Roasted Fillet of Salmon
Served with chargrilled Fennel and a Lemon Emulsion

Roasted Vegetable Wellington (V)
Seasonal vegetables, blended and encrusted in puff pastry, finished with red wine and cranberry reduction

Dessert

Eton Mess (V)
Strawberries & cream simply irresistible

Crème Brûlée (V)
Classic version of the English crème brûlée accompanied with a hand-made sable biscuit

Triple Chocolate Torte (V)
with Raspberry Mascarpone and Mint

Vanilla Panacotta
A rich vanilla cream set with raspberry and elderflower and finished with crunchy biscotti
