A Christmas Dinner Date Evening!
Visit us here at the house on one of our highly sought after Dinner Date Evenings on Wednesday 4th December 2019. It will be Christmas time, the 10ft Christmas trees will be up and covered in twinkle lights!
Arrival is from 6.00pm for you to wander at your leisure, visit bedrooms you have not yet seen, take in the gorgeous Queens Gallery again or stroll around the grounds of the house.
From 7.00pm, welcome drinks will start to circulate and a selection of chef’s handmade canapes will be offered for you to try.
We also will have cheeses and wines for you to try, so you can see what upgrades are on offer for you to have on your special day! Our Candy Cart will also be set up also for you to enjoy!
Dinner is then served at 8.00pm in our stunning Ballroom.
Our Dinner Dates don’t just have to be for just the two of you… You can bring mum’s and dads, sisters, brothers, best men or bridesmaids too… The more the merrier!
Our Chef has put together a lovely menu for you to choose from;
Starters
Duck Confit
On a bed of pickled red cabbage with a toasted sesame and honey dressing
Crayfish Cocktail
Crayfish tails & prawns with homemade Marie rose sauce on a bed of mixed leaves
Warm Chicken Salad
Served with celeriac remoulade, pancetta and sage
Baked Camembert Tart (V)
Poached William pear topped with rich and creamy Camembert encased with puff pastry
Mains
Traditional Roast Topside of Beef with Yorkshire Pudding
Served on a bed of horseradish mash and a rich red wine jus
Slow Braised Belly of Pork
Served on buttered Savoy cabbage with fondant potatoes & a rich cider & sage jus
Herb Crusted Salmon
On a bed of julienne vegetables with a chive butter sauce
Roasted Vegetable Wellington (V)
Roasted seasonal vegetables encrusted in puff pastry served with a cranberry reduction
Desserts
Sticky Toffee Pudding (V)
Served with toffee sauce and Baileys cream
Crème Brulee (V)
Rich vanilla custard served with lemon shortbread

A rich chocolate mousse set on a brandy soaked sponge, garnished with cream and even more chocolate!
Raspberry Parfait (V)
Fresh raspberries blended with a rich egg custard and cream, frozen and garnished with raspberry coulis
Lemon Tart (V)
A rich lemon filling in crispy pastry finished with clotted cream, caramelised lemon zest and lemon coulis
Ticket prices are £46pp, payment is needed in full upon booking.
Rooms are available from £100 based on two sharing.
