Our Exclusive Dinner Date Evening is the perfect opportunity to treat your loved ones to a delicious 3-course dinner! It’s also a great opportunity to familiarise yourselves with our lovely venue and our staff, and try our amazing food! It doesn’t just have to be for the two of you, you can bring friends, family, colleagues… all are welcome!

Visit us at Gosfield Hall for one of our highly sought after Exclusive Dinner Date Evenings on Saturday 11th September 2021…You don’t even have to a wedding booked with us!

Arrival is from 5.00 pm where you’re free to wander at your leisure, visit bedrooms you have not yet seen, take in the gorgeous venue again or stroll around the grounds of the house.

Welcome Drinks are served at 7pm and Dinner is then served at 7.30 pm. Our Chef team works tirelessly to ensure our food is perfect and you enjoy the best food possible!

Starters

Duck Confit
On a bed of pickled red cabbage with a toasted sesame & honey dressing

Smoked Haddock Rarebit
Soft poached egg with creamy smoked haddock on a toasted crouton topped with a Welsh rarebit

Wild Mushroom Risotto (V)
Wild mushrooms sautéed with garlic & fresh herbs, topped with rocket & parmesan, finished with herb oil

Roasted Artichoke and Sun Blushed Tomato Salad (VG)
A whole roasted globe artichoke served with tossed sun blushed tomatoes & salad leaves and
garnished with balsamic & red pepper salsa

Mains

Forestiere Style Free Range Breast of Chicken
Stuffed with mushrooms and served with a rich red wine jus, baby onions and thyme

Roasted Loin of Suffolk Pork
Served with homemade stuffing, buttered Savoy cabbage, cider sauce and crackling

Roasted Fillet of Salmon
Served with chargrilled fennel and lemon emulsion

Garlic and Saffron Stewed Courgette with Butter Bean and Mint (VG)
Lightly braised courgette with garlic & saffron, tossed with butter beans & served with a mint salsa

Desserts

Baked New York Style Cheesecake (V)
Finished with summer berries – just like in the Big Apple!

Chocolate and Salted Caramel Brownie (V)
With dark chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream

Eton Mess (V)
Strawberries and cream – simply irresistible!

Apple and Blackberry Crumble (VG)
Seasonal cooked fruits topped with cinnamon crumble and served with vegan custard
