On a late summers day in September, the lovely Luci and Connor said their I-Do’s here at Gosfield Hall.
The happy couple were holidaying in Borneo, at the beach waiting to see the sunset, followed by a lovely romantic dinner under a gazebo (all arranged by Connor… Didn’t he do well?!) Mid conversation, he jumps down on one knee and pops the question to Luci, the rest is history!
Luci – “Happiest day of my life, before our wedding day!”
After everything had then sunk in, Luci and Connor then came and viewed Gosfield Hall after finding the Hall on Hitched. They fell in love with the classic feel it had and it offered everything they needed – stunning ceremony room, in-house catering and over night accommodation for loved ones.
With all preparations done and in place, the only thing left to do was to look forward to the big day itself!… What a day they had…
Luci’s accessories for the day had a little bit of a personal touch; New diamond earrings, Borrowed silver bracelet from her Bridesmaids and her mum gave her a family ring as her something Old.
After the excitement of getting ready, it was on to the ceremony in the beautiful Queens Gallery, where Luci walked down the aisle with her dad, Dave. Connor awaited for her at the end with baited breath…
Connor’s mum is a florist and worked her magic for the newlyweds in providing some stunning arrangements…
I’m sure you’ll all agree, the Ballroom looks breath taking with the decorations and flowers that they had!
Their cake was provided by Heavenleigh Cakes… Just looking at it you can tell it tasted good!
Onto the party now! Luci and Connor had a think about their first dance and decided to choose something that meant alot to them… They chose to have ‘Can’t take my eyes of of you’ by Frankie Valli, as it is one of their favourite songs from the musical Jersey Boys, which was their first date!… Ahhhh!
After the partying had finished and people took their sore feet to bed, the day had come to an end. I think it is safe to (from the photos) that Luci and Connor had an amazing day!
We asked the new Mr and Mrs Sullivan if they had any words of wisdom to pass on to our yet-to-be Brides and Grooms;
” I think the most important thing is to always listen to your gut and what you as a couple want to do – everyone gets very excited at the prospect of a wedding and will offer many opinions. I think it is always good to listen to advice but in the end do whatever you want to do as a couple – as you only plan on doing it once”
Luci and Connor jetted of the the Seychelles for 2 weeks after the wedding… Very nice too!
Congratulations to you both again, you make a perfect couple and we wish you all the best for the future!
