Real Weddings: Adrian and Sarah

Today’s ‘Real Wedding’ blog is all about Adrian and Sarah who were married with us over the lovely long bank holiday weekend on Saturday 4th May 2013.

They actually met on the internet- a fabulously modern way to meet like-minded people and four and a half years later, Adrian dropped to one knee and popped the question on a stunning cliff top in a gorgeous village in Cornwall (which the top table was named after!)

After the romantic proposal- which Sarah was not expecting, they then made their way to a little café on the sea front where they drank sparkling elderflower and celebrated- how cute!

Sarah didn’t have too much trouble finding her stunning wedding dress- she went to two dress shops in total and bought the first dress her sister pointed out! Sarah  wasn’t too keen on it initially, but after trying it on she fell in love with it (we certainly loved it too!)

The cake designer- Sue Polhill- designed the cake especially for Sarah and Adrian’s wedding. They chose the flavours they wanted and went for a fresh Summer scheme with colours to match.  The cake was all hand decorated and you can see for yourselves how much detailing was involved.

The four bridesmaids wore gorgeous strapless, floor length lilac dresses to complement the fabulous Summer wedding theme and even the men got involved with matching cravats and waistcoats!

Mr and Mrs Ball- we wish you both a lifetime of happiness together and we really hope you can both visit us very soon in the near future. We hope that you had a lovely honeymoon back in Cornwall where Adrian proposed!
