Firstly… We would like to say our day could not have gone any better!
We had viewed over 10 other venues, and we chose Gosfield Hall and so grateful we did. The staff were so honest, helpful, calm, encouraging and genuinely interested in us and our special day. Plus, there is so much included in terms of decor (flowers throughout) stunning grounds which you do not have to spend loads of extra money on to make the place look pretty.
A huge shout out to Faye Carter, our Personal Wedding Manager. Honestly, we could not have done the day without her. Faye was quick with replying to emails and answering calls especially to the lead up to the wedding. Nothing was ever to much trouble. She ran around all day making sure we had everything and anything we needed as well as going above and beyond! We felt as though we had known her for years and she became part of our party that night! She will be mentioned in all our wedding stories to people over the years that’s for sure! The women who helped our dreams come true.
Another huge thanks to the bar staff (Lanny, Holly, Martha & Lesley) they all had such amazing vibes! They were still very professional but my focus for the evening was great music, dancing and laughter and they tagged along with that. All these little things were just what made our day amazing.
Another shout out to Gary the night manager, such a lovely man, he came and checked on me in cottage the night before and then again, the night of the wedding, such a personable man also felt like we knew him very well after our 2am chats in the corridor.
Overall, food was fantastic, great service, well-kept grounds, amazing staff, and everything in between.
