Ashley and I just wanted to send an email to share our thanks for all of your support on our big day.
From the moment of booking, we knew that we had chosen the perfect venue for our big day. We cannot begin to put into words how perfect our special day was and it was all thanks to the entire team at Gosfield Hall.
Faye our original wedding planner was fantastic! She was always on hand for any questions, very personable but extremely professional and nothing was too much trouble for her. Her quick response times to emails etc was hugely appreciated, as myself being one of life’s worriers this limited a huge amount of stress and concern at my end. However, being passed over to Hayley after Faye’s accident a few days before our wedding made both of us slightly nervous especially as Faye knew all of the finer details about our day and our expectations. However this worry was needless as Hayley was absolutely amazing! Again nothing was too much trouble for Hayley and she ensured that each step of the day was just how we wanted things to go and was on hand to alter anything which we weren’t happy with, which by the way was nothing! She kept us both updated in the morning with our various suppliers arriving / things being completed and throughout the day she provided updates of what was next and checking that we were ok with proceeding with certain things before we did. We couldn’t have asked for two better wedding planners and it was lovely to have had the pleasure of dealing with both Faye and Hayley!
Laiza in particular was also amazing! She ensured that our glasses were topped up during the evening and also made a very refreshing drink for us to keep us hydrated whilst on the dance floor. She was very attentive without being intrusive and such a lovely lady, also checking if she could help further with anything. My sister who was my Maid of Honour unfortunately had a mishap with her dress approx. 20 mins before the ceremony and thankfully Laiza was on hand and sewed her into her bridesmaid dress! We cannot thank Laiza enough as it would have been hugely disappointing if she wasn’t able to be a part of our big day, let alone that she did not have another outfit to be able to change in to!
All of your waiters and waitresses were so professional, polite and efficient and without them all our day wouldn’t have been as smooth running as it was. From the welcome drinks and canapes to the wedding breakfast they were fantastic and we had so many people comment on how great their service was. Our guests didn’t have a lengthy wait at the bar either throughout the evening which was great and meant that the evening flowed perfectly! The food was absolutely incredible! From our dinner date evening we were really impressed and were hoping that the standard, quantity and quality of the food and presentation would be the same and it really was. All of our guests were commenting on how fabulous and plentiful the food was. As families of food lovers this was a big part of our day and once again was perfect.
The Maintenance and Cleaning staff did a fantastic job of the venue. All of our guests who stayed at the venue mentioned how lovely their room was and how immaculate it was particularly being that there was a wedding the day before ours. The Bridal Suite speaks for itself, it is such a stunning room!
We can honestly say that we imagined how lovely our big day would be, but we never dreamed that it would be as wonderful and special as it was. We cannot thank you all enough for giving us, our families and our friends a day to remember for the rest of our lives and for providing us with our dream wedding! We still can’t believe that it was our own wedding!
