I literally cannot explain what my husband and I first felt when we drove down the road and saw the beautiful building. Our jaws were literally on the floor. The grounds were sensational, so green and so well maintained.
We were greeted by Becky who spoke with us about options and took us around on a tour to show us how the day would plan out. She was so thorough and explained everything perfectly.
The Grand Salon is where we were first greeted, I cannot even explain the décor… Out of this world! Beautifully art painted ceilings, a piano and a fireplace. That was just the greeting room. We were told that the same room could also be used for the ceremony. We liked that there were different options in different areas of the house.
The stairs were another beautiful feature, really makes the hallway something special.
We were shown the bridal suite and literally wanted to move in. The décor in that room is like no other that we have seen. The fireplace, the fourposter bed, the great big jacuzzi, the full-length mirrors and not to mention the amazing views. The gold room as we called it was fit for any King or Queen.
We, of course, were shown the rest of the grounds/bedrooms of where guests were able to stay and we were just blown away. Matthew and I looked at each other and said ‘this is definitely the one.’ I think we knew it was the one from the minute we pulled up outside.
