My husband and I were married here in August and wow what a venue it was! It goes without saying the grounds and house itself are utterly stunning, however that’s only half the story.
Our wedding coordinator Gaynor was amazing, we met with her a few months before the wedding and she put our minds completely at ease by explaining the many different choices open to us and exactly how everything would work on the day. This allowed us to completely tailor our experience to represent us as a couple.
Equally, throughout the day she took control of all the little things that needed to be dealt with so that we didn’t have to worry about a thing. This would not have been possible if she hadn’t taken the time to learn all about our families and friends so that on the day she blended in so well she became one of them!
The food and drink that was served through the day was just as good as explained, if not better. There was not a single guest that was either hungry or thirsty by the end of the day and this did not change the morning after at breakfast. The rooms were all excellent which meant all of our guests had an comfortable nights sleep. I stayed in the Lady’s Chambers the night before and would thoroughly recommend it. By being there the night before it made the morning much more relaxed, equally it removed the worry of being late as both myself and my bridesmaids were already there.
We as a couple cannot speak highly enough of this sublime venue and its staff. We almost wish that we had to get married again just so that we could appreciate it one more time.
