As parents of the Bride we would like to thank all the staff at Gosfield Hall, from the initial visit and booking to leaving the morning after the wedding, we found they were friendly and very hardworking. (I went into the dining room while the staff were laying the tables and asked them to change the layout. They just took this in their stride.)
We stayed in the cottage the night before which was very relaxing and we had a very lovely time in the hot tub, even though we had a bit of light rain. Catherine brought in croissants the next morning which was very welcome.
On the day we moved into the bridal suite, which is a gorgeous range of rooms, and we all had plenty of room to get ready.
We were lucky to have beautiful weather on the day, not too hot, Hayley and Chris were able to have their ceremony outside and the sun shone even brighter as they said: “I Do”.
Gosfield Hall really is a beautiful building and gardens and kept tidy and clean by the housekeeping and gardening teams. Our guests enjoyed the wedding and loved the house. Chris’s nan from France even said she felt as though she was in a palace.
The food was lovely and served by the waiting staff quickly, and all our guests were very full after the meal which they thoroughly enjoyed, praise to the Chefs!
The bar staff were very good and I’m sure we kept them busy.
We used 21 rooms for guests staying overnight. They had a lovely nights sleep and enjoyed breakfast in the morning.
Catherine was our wedding planner, and she was helpful and lovely even when I was asking in my opinion, questions I really should have known the answer to. Catherine arranged everything the way we wanted it and even spoke French for our guests from France, which I know they appreciated. Catherine was an absolute diamond!
