Our Dinner Date Evening is the perfect opportunity to treat your loved ones to a delicious 3-course dinner! It’s also a great opportunity to familiarise yourselves with our lovely venue & our staff, and try our amazing food! It doesn’t just have to be for the two of you, you can bring friends, family, colleagues… all are welcome (subject to local & national Covid-19 restrictions!)

Visit us at Gosfield Hall for one of our highly sought after Dinner Date Evenings on Friday 18th December 2020…You don’t even have to a wedding booked with us!
Arrival is from 5.00 pm where you’re free to wander at your leisure, visit bedrooms you have not yet seen, take in the gorgeous venue again or stroll around the grounds of the house.
Welcome Drinks are served at 7pm and Dinner is then served at 7.30 pm. Our Chef team works tirelessly to ensure our food is perfect and you enjoy the best food possible!

Starters
Chicken Liver Parfait with a Red Onion and Grape Chutney
A smooth paté flavoured with lardons of bacon, cream and brandy – garnished with salad leaves and served with a toasted crouton and fruit chutney
Pesto Roasted Salmon
Served with roquette salad, parmesan shavings and basil oil
Baked Camembert Tart (V)
Poached William pear topped with rich and creamy Camembert and encased in puff pastry
Roasted Red Pepper and Tomato Soup (VG)
A silky tomato soup with the smokiness of slow roasted red peppers
Mains
Traditional Roast Topside of Beef with Yorkshire Pudding
Served on a bed of horseradish mash with a red wine jus
Roast Leg of Lamb
Served with redcurrant and rosemary stuffing and a rich roast jus
Roasted Fillet of Salmon
Served with chargrilled fennel and a lemon emulsion
Roasted Vegetable Wellington (VG)
Seasonal vegetables, blended and encrusted in puff pastry,
finished with a red wine and cranberry reduction

Vanilla Pannacotta
A rich vanilla cream set with raspberry and elderflower and finished with crunchy biscotti
Chocolate and Salted Caramel Brownie (V)
With dark chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream
Eton Mess (V)
Strawberries and Cream – simply irresistable!
Apple and Blackberry Crumble (VG)
Seasonal cooked fruits topped with a cinnamon crumble and served with vegan custard
