Dinner Date Evening – 17th April 2018

At Gosfield Hall, we aim to give you the most fabulous wedding!

No matter what the theme… Victorian, Classic, Harry Potter, Viking, Circus or Festival, Vintage… This list goes on… One of the most important aspects of any themed or Classic wedding is the food!

We offer special evenings called Dinner Date Evenings, where you can come along to the house for the evening for a beautiful 3 course meal and, of course, to visit your breathtaking venue again!

The house is open from 5.00pm for you to wander at your leisure, visit bedrooms you have not seen yet, take in the gorgeous Queens Gallery again or stroll around the grounds of the house.

Dinner is then served at 8.00pm where just the two of you can dine, or you can bring mums and dads, sisters, brothers, best men or bridesmaids too… The more the merrier!

Our Head Chef Nikki has put together a specially selected menu, from our main menu, for you to come along and enjoy.

Starters

Crayfish Cocktail

Crayfish tails & prawns with homemade Marie rose sauce on a bed of mixed leaves

Pesto Roasted Salmon

Served with Roquette Salad Parmesan Shavings & Basil Oil

Mozzarella and Rocket Salad with Tomato and Chilli Salsa (V)

Toasted garlic bruschetta, topped with rocket salad and slices of creamy mozzarella, garnished with tomato, red onion and chilli salsa

Coriander Chicken Roulade

Served with a Fennel Salad and Preserved Lemon Dressing

Mains

Pan Fried Chicken with Chargrilled Asparagus

Served on wilted Spinach with Roasted Shallots and Thyme Jus

Roasted Fillet of Salmon

Served with chargrilled Fennel and a Lemon Emulsion

Pork Tenderloin

Stuffed with Spinach and Pine Nuts wrapped in Parma Ham served on Potato Soufflé with a Sage cream sauce

Roasted Vegetable Wellington (V)

Seasonal vegetables, blended and encrusted in puff pastry, finished with red wine and cranberry reduction

Desserts

Vanilla Panacotta

A rich vanilla cream set with raspberry and elderflower and finished with crunchy biscotti

Lemon Tart

Handmade crisp butter pastry with a rich lemon filling, served with clotted cream, raspberries and caramelised lemon zest

Chocolate and Salted Caramel Brownie

With dark chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream

Raspberry Parfait

Fresh raspberries blended with a rich egg custard and cream, frozen and garnished with raspberry coulis

Tickets are £46 pp for the 3 course meal. If you would like to stay in one of our wonderful suites, our rooms for the evening are from £100 based on 2 people sharing.
