A Mansion Wedding Venue in the Heart of Essex

Internally, the house is absolutely beautiful and spotless. Jocie was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. She was always available to answer our questions in the lead-up to the wedding and truly listened to everything we asked for.

On the day itself, she ensured everything ran smoothly and exactly as planned. Knowing she was there supporting us was incredibly reassuring and took a huge weight off our shoulders. We couldn’t have asked for a better Personal Wedding Manager!

The food was incredible! So many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed it too!

Absolutely beautiful, all the guests could not believe how beautiful it was! The grounds are stunning and clearly well-maintained! Someone was always available to speak to you; we got to attend different open days and events.

Tara was an absolute dream! She helped us from making sure we were on track at the start of our journey with her right the way through to the end of the day and beyond - she is fantastic at her job, and we genuinely felt she was as invested in our day as we were!

Everyone commented to say how fantastic the food was! Everyone loved the cocktails! Tara was absolutely fantastic.

The house is beautiful, and we loved the decorations for Christmas. The furniture is gorgeous, and we loved our ceremony room especially. The Honeymoon Suite was incredible, and we really felt like royalty staying there! Beautiful from the outside and gorgeous grounds.

All of our guests commented on how lovely the bedrooms are. As already mentioned, we adored our room, it was breathtaking!

All the staff were fantastic, especially our Personal Wedding Manager, Faye, who is just incredible. There aren’t enough words to reflect how wonderful Faye is; not only did she help us feel prepared and supported in the build-up, but she was unbelievable in making sure everything ran smoothly, and she anticipated everything we needed before we even asked! She is just incredible!!!

We were so lucky to have had the most amazing wedding day at Gosfield Hall.

A special thank you to Jocie. She honestly had such a calming, positive impact on our day and went above and beyond to make it so special. Nothing was ever too much of an ask, and we are so thankful for how she looked after us, our family and friends.

Ellie, our Personal Wedding Manager, was the most incredible person ever. She is unbelievable at her job and made the whole experience so smooth. On our wedding day, all the staff members were friendly, professional and provided top service.

All of our family and friends echoed how incredible she was — she went above and beyond in every way, and everyone noticed it. We honestly couldn’t have imagined our day without her. Ellie, thank you for making our wedding not only stress-free but genuinely unforgettable. You are phenomenal at what you do!  Our wedding breakfast was unreal food and so many compliments.

The house is beautiful inside with regal and grand details and pretty decor throughout. The house is stunning outside; the grounds are very well kept and beautiful to look at.

From start to finish the service was excellent, the staff member who booked our wedding explained the process well and we fully understood each step to come. Our coordinator Faye made the planning seamless, she was very professional and informative, we received fast replies via email which was very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, last minute changes and additions were no issue. We felt very confident in the lead up to our wedding.

For the wedding breakfast we had the lamb rack and scallops and the tasted amazing, all of our guests were happy with their food. The cocktails were the best we have tasted in some time - passionfruit martini and old fashioned were just excellent! 

Incredibly helpful staff and quick response times to queries. We had several tours of the venue, all super detailed, friendly and kind. Really liked everyone we met.

In addition, all members of staff working at the wedding provided the highest standard of service. Lots of my guests commented on this, and it just made the day so much better! Thank you!!

Faye was unbelievable. She was super calm, in control and got everything done on time. The wedding breakfast food was really delicious and served super timely. Faye!!! I’m so beyond grateful that Faye was our Personal Wedding Manager; she made the day so much better.

Immaculate gardens, just stunning. The house was clean, beautiful, set up exactly as per agreement with Hayden. The bedrooms- plenty of towels, lovely White Company toiletries, spacious rooms and a lovely experience in every room.

Hayden was outstanding. Absolutely outstanding. He had to endure an entire year of countless questions and requests; changes and panic attacks and he took it all in like the seasoned professional he is. Nothing was too big or small for Hayden and he is the reason the day went as smoothly as it did.

Attentive, friendly and diligent staff, wonderful team. Jade and the 2 Maisie’s were excellent at the Marquis the night before. The waiters and bar staff - all excellent, friendly and helpful. Wonderful to see Jade and Maisie again on the wedding evening. 

We fell in love with the venue as soon as we arrived and it was even more perfect on our wedding day. All the staff were attentive, professional and went above and beyond.

Jocie was fantastic at organising the day and so many of our guests said it was the best wedding they attended. Food was stunning, cocktails made to perfection and grounds well kept. Couldn't recommend here more. Again, the grounds are incredibly well kept, and beautiful.

I was in the Rococco suite which was outstanding. What I recall of the other bedrooms was also very high quality. The sale staff were co-ordinated and met with were very knowledgeable and helpful. Service was fantastic throughout the day, I couldn’t complain about anyone or thing. Everything went off smoothly and the staff were wonderful and friendly. I didn’t have to worry about a thing as a result of the efficiency and professionalism of the team. Faye was fantastic throughout. I became unwell on the day, and she was lovely and supportive of me. She worked with my husband to amend the schedule on the fly and made sure I didn’t miss out on anything. I can’t thank her enough for making it our perfect day that we will cherish forever.

The house is so beautiful. Each of the rooms are breathtaking and all have their own stunning features. Staff have also been friendly and very accommodating when visiting to look around and when attending tasting evenings.

We’ve had excellent service everything we’ve visited Gosfield and can’t wait to return for future events. All the staff during our wedding day were fantastic. Serving with a smile and very attentive to guests. Food and presentation were amazing.

Faye was amazing. She went above and beyond, not just on our wedding day and also in the lead up. Always replying quickly to my many questions and helping with any queries. We can’t thank Faye enough for making sure our special day went smoothly!
